SURROUNDINGS:

The estate is ideally located for daytrips to St. Emilion, Duras, Eymet, Bergerac, Bordeaux, Libourne, Perigeux, Pomerol, Rocamadour, Sarlat, Angouleme, Saintes,Royan, la Rochelle and Biarritz.

Visit one of the countless wine chateaus, or famous caves in the area. Relax on a sun lounger with a good book a glass of wine. You can even buy wine for just over a euro per litre less than a mile away!

You also have the use of two bikes to ride around the surrounding vineyards, or down to the little village of Pessac-sur-Dordogne (2km) to buy morning croissants or rent a canoe to paddle down the river.

Several supermarkets are only a five minute drive away. A variety of good restaurants suiting every budget are all within a 10 min. drive.
You can even get a 5 course menu for 15 euro and a litre of St. Emilion wine for 7 euro, just 5 minutes away!

THE PROPERTY:

The cottage have been totally renovated in 2003 under supervision of a Parisian architect.

The cottage is electrically centrally heated, with air conditioning in the bedroom. The ground level has slate flooring throughout. The chef-planned kitchen features an induction hob, an automatic oven, and a microwave.

The spacious living room has a leather sofa and armchairs surrounding the original stone fireplace. There’s English Sat TV and DVD player and over 50 films to choose from. The spacious dining area has a teak dining table and chairs. Outside, you can enjoy wireless high-speed broadband internet for your laptop.

The marble-floored bathroom features a double-sized glass shower stall, heated towel rails, a washing machine and a clothes dryer.

Upstairs, the air-conditioned master bedroom has a king-size double bed, air-conditioning, wall-to-wall carpeting, a convertible skylight, and exposed oak beams.

OUTDOORS:

Enjoy the uninterrupted views over vineyards and orchards in the 2 acre(8000m2)in the landscaped garden, while you have an outside diner accompanied by a nice glass of wine.

Relax on the sun loungers while reading a book, next to the 12 by 6 meter heated pool with luxury pool house. A gas BBQ is also available on request. The loudest thing you will hear is the chirping of the birds!

HOW TO GET HERE:

Cheap non-stop flights are available to Bergerac( 30km) or Bordeaux (60km).

Bergerac Airport is available direct from London Stansted, Nottingham and Liverpool with Ryanair. Southampton, Bristol, Birmingham, Exeter et Leeds Bradford are available with Flybe.

Bordeaux Airport is available through Easyjet,BA, and KLM/Air France.

Libourne TGV Railway Station is less than 30km away, reachable in under three hours from Paris.

Hire your car at the airport or railway station at Hertz, Europcar,etc.
