From this quiet Jamaican cottage with its big wooden balcony you are overlooking the caribbean sea. The sunrise, colours of the ocean and the green mountains are giving this tranquil place it´s romantic flair.
A five minutes walk away is the white beach of Long Bay, with relaxing bars and small restaurants.
Want more beaches and the famous Jamaican Jerk chicken places ? All is nearby.
The cottage has two independent units.
The first unit has:
A comfortable room with a high wooden roof, a big four post bed and a single bed,
if needed. Kitchen, bathroom and a wash room with washing machine are attached.
The kitchen has all cooking - utensils. There ist TV and telephone.
From the shady room you walk on the wooden balcony and watch the sunrise over the sea. Good place for single, couple or even three people.
The second unit holds:
A nice room with balcony overlooking the sea.
Bathroom is attached. Coffee making no problem.
We can arrange a cooking place for you there.
One or two people can stay and will feel very comfortable.
Cooking you can get on request.
Why not having a jamaican dinner and breakfast with all the beautiful jamaican dishes?
Internet runs in the cottage via telephone or at the library near the beach, or in Port Antonio.
Port Antonio, this historically famous city, you can reach in 30 minutes by a local taxi.
The cottage stands on a little hill, called Rose Hill. The community around is friendly
and it is not difficult to come in contact. People are fisherman and farmers.
You can request them for fresh fish ore fruits.
From here you can easily reach all attractions of Portland, or just relax on the balcony and listen to the sound of the sea. Portland, the eastern side of Jamaica has no big tourist crowds. It is the land of the Blue Mountains, rivers and friendly people.

Nightly rates are:
80 US $ for the first unit and 60 $ for the second unit.
