In a quiet country location, this 18th century entirely revovated farmhouse is ideally situated not only for visiting the chateaux in the region (Chambord, Chenonceau, Azay-le-Rideau, Chaumont and more), but also a wonderful place to enjoy in a relaxing bucolic setting commonly referred to as 'the garden of France'. 300 yards away there is a private lake where one can go fishing, and a short walk down a path brings you to the Prunay forest where you'll find foot paths and cycling trails also to enjoy. Neighboring a farm, this self-catering home is comprised of a livingromm with dining area, one master (queen size bed) and one spare bedroom (two twin beds), a fully equiped kitchen (cooker, dishwasher, microwave), bathroom with separate toilet and laundry room. There is a wood burning fireplace as well as central heating for use during the cooler months of the year. Annexed to the cottage is an antique wooden caravan, remodled into a playhouse with toys and games for younger visitors

A 300 euro security deposit is requested upon arrival to be returned, in principle, at the end of the stay. Optional extras are : sheets : 8 euros/bed, wood for fireplace : 30 euros/1m3 (a weeks' worth of wood), clean up fee : 40 euros, bicycle rental : 8 euros/week/bike. As the cottage is near a farm, the possibilty to purchase fresh meat/steaks (of the highly acclaimed "Charolaise" variety) is also available.
