The Dam Square with the Queen’s Palace and Madame Tussauds, the Amsterdam Chinatown and the famous Waterloo Market are all within walking distance. If you like to visit a traditional Dutch food market, the historic Nieuwmarkt (New Market) is close by and worth a visit. The market has been in business since the fifteenth century. On Saturday’s you find here an organic food market. In the summer time there is an antiques and books market on Sundays. The wonderful Waag Gatehouse is located in the centre of the square and was used as the city gate until the seventeenth century. Want to go for a bite? There are plenty of bars and restaurants around the New Market square and in the neighbourhood. The bedroom is located in the rear of the building to guarantee you a peaceful night. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a large wardrobe. The bathroom has a bath and a toilet.
