A wonderful old fireplace is the centre of the larger room

Description:
Le Peintre is a genuine and beautifully decorated artist’s apartment in the medieval village of Haut-de-Cagnes, only a 15-20 min walk to the beach. Close to Nice, Cannes and St Paul de Vence. The apartment features dark ceiling beams, old stone tiles, and a giant stone fireplace. The combined living/dining-room has a bar kitchen that looks out onto a narrow little street. The charming terrace, on the other side of the house, has a wide, beautiful view over the village, the valley and the snow-covered Alpes Maritimes. In front of the fireplace in the living room, there is a comfortable leather sofa, and next to it, there is a generous dining table. Behind a screen (a triptyk made by the artist) there is a double bed that also serves as a comfortable couch. In the next room, there is another fireplace, an alcove with a double bed, and a sofa bed sleeping 2. The adjoining bathroom/wc features traditional Provencal tiles and a bathtub. The apartmentis equipped with ADSL.

Please note that there are only two big rooms - no separate bedrooms.
